Thuwaybah was one of the Sahabas (companions) of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and His first Nurse. The meaning of her name deserves Gods reward.
Thuwaybah is also known by the name of Thuwaybah al-Islamiah. She was the slave of Abu Lahab but was freed by him when she gave him the news that he had become an uncle, and his brother Abdullah had a son named Muhammad (PBUH). She was the first to nurse Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) along with her son. She became Muslim after Muhammad (PBUH) announced His Prophecy.
Thuwaybah died in 7 AH.
